View NIKKI8's food & exercise for this day

Food Log
B-protein pancakes with lite syrup
L-salad w/deli ham, cheese and light dressing
S-Banana and 100 cal. popcorn
post workout--Zonebar
D-ham steak, mashed potatoes, corn on cob w/light butter, 3/4 cup 1% milk
S-banana, icecream, chocolate syrup, little dollop of cool whip (I went all out.)

On track today again, but I was almost afraid to eat today in fear that I would binge. It's scary to be so far gone that you're getting afraid to eat.

Exercise Report
Walked with my stroller group and did light resistance work with the bands. But I was late due to a power struggle with the 3 year old and don't feel like I really got a good workout.
I have a lot to do today (it's nap time) and if I can fit it in, I am going to try to get in my upper body workout that I skipped yesterday.

I am really stressed right now with so much to do. Are stay at home moms supposed to have so much on their plates? Goodness!
I hope to be able to write later as I have a lot on my mind. :(

Evening update:
I was able to get my UBWO. And it felt really good to get that in. I was starving when it was done so I had a protein bar.

I'm just worn out and stressed. Plus it's PMS week. Ugh!
I just can't seem to get stuff done no matter how hard I try. It's like I'm spinning my wheels. I have a to-do list. I stress over getting stuff done. I know my main focus should be on the kids, but I always try to get in one more load of laundry, or dishes or quickly try to get a phone call in.
Then my husband thinks I have so much free time and he is often asking me to do something for him--on the computer, phone calls. errands.
It just gets crazier.
I wrote my priorities down last week and tried to make a plan for better time management, but it's not helping. At least not so far.
My priorities are, and in this order: God, family, exercise, housework, scrapbook.
But it seems like I'm always putting exercise and housework above everything else. :( I get really upset when I can't workout and I try to plan things around that.

I weighed myself again this morning. :nono3: I think I can handle it or that maybe I've lost a little, but no, it's higher again. 156 and it just spiraled me into depression again. Not as bad as Friday, but I still feel so stressed over that. My gosh, I've gained about 6 pounds in a month! All from binging. :cry3:
I think I need to give up the scale. I told my husband I think he needs to make it disappear for a while. And he said he'd take care of it.

My 3 yr old is being difficult. Oh, the daily power struggles are so fun. It has taken so long to get out the door in the morning the past 2 days because we've been going around and around. It's wearing on me. And, of course, I doubt myself and wonder if I'm handling things the right way. I question if I'm a good mom and all that.
Well, I guess that's all Im going to write about now.

I agree with Donna - being a SAHM is hard! You never have time for yourself. Can you combine things on your list? Exercise with family time - walks and bike rides. Housework with kid time - have the kids help - they love washing the floor by "skating" with rags on their feet. LOL God with exercise or housework - find some inspirational books on tape to listen to. And don't forget to make time for you in that list!
