View NIKKI8's food & exercise for this day

I have forgotten what it feels like to be eating healthy and on track. It feels so good. Yesterday and today have both been good days. I haven't been hungry, haven't eaten emotionally, and haven't had any icecream.
One thing that feels good is when I start to feel bad about my wieght or how my clothes fit, I can remember that I am doing something about it.
I can't really explain exactly what has made the difference. I think something finally clicked with me. And I've been praying about this and really leaning on God when I want to eat from emotions.
I'm so glad to finally be able to report something good in my blog. I have been venting my discouragement and negative emotions for so long now, it's nice to be able to report something positive. (And those who read my blog are probably glad too. :y: )

I think I'm starting to get my priorities in better order as well. My house is a mess :frog: but I have been spending more time with the boys. A big thing I'm working on is being emotionally and mentally present when I'm with them. I feel like my mind is elsewhere too often when I'm with them. So I'm trying to slow down, listen to them and enjoy them. It's taking practice but I'm getting better.

Potty training challenges:  I'm so worried about Collin. He's 3 and a half and has done pretty well potty training, but has accidents often (maybe that doesn't sound like "pretty good";). He has a fear of public bathrooms especially the toilets that flush themselves. He thinks their
Anyway, he has had a few accidents at school and on Monday they sent a note home saying he had another poop accident (I think it was the 2nd one since starting at the end of August!) and that I needed to send him in pull-ups from now on.
Well, that makes me mad because I feel like putting him in pull-ups would really stall our progress and make us go backwards. He goes there 3 days a week from 9am-1:00. If he has pullups on, he won't go in the potty. I understand where they are coming from, but it's frustrating to not be able to train him properly.
I am going to talk to them in the morning and try to work something out. If they insist that he must wear pull-ups, then I will do it, but I'm going to see if they will give him a little more time.
Ugh! I hate potty training! :devil7:

I am glad to hear things are going well (outside of the poop accident)!! I can see why he's scared of those self-flushing toilets, I hate those dumb things too!! They always flush when I am sitting on them, nothing worse than a soaking wet butt! :frog:
