NIKKI8's CalorieKing blog

Monday, Dec 24 2007 - Merry Christmas!

View NIKKI8's food & exercise for this day

Sarah is gone. I logged on this morning and her blog is no longer in my favorites so I think she is locked out of CK because of their renewal problem. I don't usually get upset with CK very easily. Even with the whole renewal drama back in August, I just blew it off. But this is frustrating as it is their fault and they have not fixed it. She blogs every day, often more than once a day and this whole thing makes me mad. I have to renew soon too, but I'm sure I will have the same problem.

Anyway, I ordered a photo travel mug from Walmart.com and they lost it! We also got a coffee mug with the kids' picture on it for my FIL and it came in, thank goodness. The order says the other mug was with it but the store can't find it. I called corporate walmart and they think it was lost as well. :cry4: Well, I'm glad it was my husband's and not my FIL's but it's still very frustrating.
I only have one gift to give him-a huge expensive gift, but still I wanted him to be able to open something else. I need to run out and get stocking stuffers so I may get him something else while I'm at it. But he told me last night he's going to get the stocking stuffers. :cross2: We'll see.

Other than that, I am baking alot today. Making fudge, gluten free cornbread, gf pumpkin pie, and a gf birthday cake for Jesus. Tomorrow I make gf biscuits and side dishes for Christmas dinner. I will also clean the house :bigeyes3: and later tonight we go to my in-laws for some food and I think we do stockings from them at their house. Tomorrow they come to our house for dinner and gift exchange. My husband has no siblings so that's it for our Christmas.
I miss my family terribly on Christmas and it's not fair that I am away from them 2 years in a row. We have an alternating schedule of staying here and going to Chicago every other year. But my husband's new job messed that up. But we are going to Chicago January 3rd so I am happy with that. And a quiet Christmas here will be nice. It can get a little crazy with my family as I have lots of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Anyway, I hope everyone has a nice holiday. I plan to not worry one bit about calories as I haven't really in about a week. I'm sure not gonna start on Christmas. :P Even though I am fatter than I have been in years and feel every bulge and blubber. :( Okay, not a good way to end this entry, but I don't feel like deleting.
Have fun everyone! :clown1:

I'm still here!! I got a response to my support ticket saying they'd renew me for a month until my account gets worked out. PHEW! Because I  being able to chat with you! And I will help you get on track after Christmas, because something clicked with me on Friday and now I'm in the eating less rhythm. :y: You can get there too. We'll do it together!!

thanks for the congrats! i was kinda expecting it, but not last night! lol. anyways, have a good time baking today and have a very merry christmas! oh you asked about the PNP workout, i did the 50 min intermediate treadmill walking workout. it starts out really slow, and i didnt find it especially challenging but it felt good to do it after my regular workout and i burned another 300 calories! It was good cause it was new and mixed up the monotony a bit. anyways, have a great day!

:wave1: Merry Christmas Eve. Don't worry, Sarah will be back. They will work it out. It sounds like your day is going to be a lot like mine! I am making banana bread and some peanut butter balls (I know ... I have no shame!) We are going to my in-laws for Christmas with them tonight, so I have to make deviled eggs and Texas Potatoes for that. We have two more gifts we need, but Brian is picking those up while I slave away in the kitchen ... haha. Tomorrow it's just the four of us at home all day doing our family thing. The girls will have us up super early to see what Santa brought. Then we'll open our gifts, and then we always do a big breakfast. I hope you have a fantabulous Christmas. And for heaven sakes, don't worry about calories for the next 48 hours. But don't make yourself sick cause you want to enjoy every mintue of this!!!:heart2: ya.
