Oh my goodness. Poor Ashli. She just called me and told me her house and cars flooded with all that rain we had over the past 2 days. They had 6 inches of water in their house. I felt better today. My throat was still sore, but no fever or body aches, which i think is the worst part. I was able to do some cleaning and I took a nap (Collin laid down and rested but never went to sleep.)My husband and I had a "heated discussion" when he called me on his lunch. He is mad about how I handled a situation with his family. He is right that I didn't handle it entirely the way I should have. But it is a very delicate situation and it was hard to make decision...

I woke up in the middle of the night last night and could hardly swallow, my throat was so sore. I looked at it with a flashlight in the mirror and saw all these white sores on my throat.
Great. I also had a low-grade fever, ears hurt and my nose was running. Oh, and the body aches. That, I always think, is the worse part. So after dropping Collin off at school, I took Carter with me and went to the walk-in clinic (I still don't have a gen. phys. yet).

I have a really bad sore throat. I felt feverish earlier. I'm thinking: didn't we just get over being sick? Carter is coughing and has a runny nose. No more sickness please!I was planning on walking with my stroller group tomorrow as I can't on Thurs (I have a dentist appt.) But now I'm not sure I should go with my sore throat. I am so tired tonight, but I am updating my blog for you, my dear friends, because I have not been very good at keeping up with it this week. Don't you feel special?
I have been really busy, but not doing important things. Mostly I have been not managing my time well and it all slips away too quickly. Yesterday and today I ran errands with the kids and took so long that Carter had his nap in the car both days. Only 20 mins yesterday and about an hour today. This child is used to 2-21/2 ...
