By the way, I am doing another race tomorrow. It's a duathlon: 2 mile run-12 mile bike-2 mile run.
I am pretty nervous about it as I've only done a four mile run twice, but I think I'll be okay. This is more than I did in the triathlon in August where I did 12 mile bike and 3 mile run. This race route is supposed to be flatter than that one and I'm hoping so. There were some nasty hills in the August race.
Today is really cold this morning so I am also worried about the weather in the morning. I usually wear padded bike shorts, but should I wear those when it's 43 degrees?? In pants I only have yoga pants and I don't want to wear those biking since they can get caught in the bike.
I ran 4 miles on Wed. and took yesterday as a rest day and I"m not sure what to do today. I feel like I should do something.
Anyway, I will try to update after the race tomorrow. I am consistently updating on Facebook so I will post there for sure.

I baked it WAAAAAAAY longer than it said to and it turned out well, I thought! I have been thinking about you! I am in Jeff City now... we HAVE TO get together!

yay for a race! You will do awesome. I am doing my first half on sunday. I am nervous too but its an experience right? I am so happy you are blogging again!

I think you should be ok in biking shorts. I tend to heat up really fast when I exercise, your legs might be a bit numb but I think you'll be ok. Just layer up on top. Definitely no yoga pants on the bike! GOOD LUCK!
