I have been thinking about how exercise and prayer time are really important to me. Those 2 things are so vital to my mental, physical and emotional balance each day. Since I have changed my schedule for the summer, it's hard to get in the exercise during the day. And I used to get up early to pray, but for a while, Carter was getting up so early and threw off my whole routine. I got out of the habit.

I am supposed to be watching a movie and scrapbooking right now, but I'm upset and wanted to write it out a little.
You know how I was planning on talking to my husband about getting a babysitter so I could bike train outside once a week? Well, I've been so nervous about talking to him about it. I know how he'll be. I've been praying about it consistently.

not perfect, but better

I did better today with my food plan, but had a few slips ups. In the afternoon, I had 2 chocolate covered strawberries--the huge gourmet kind that probably has tons of fat grams. With dinner I had doritos and I had more when my husband got home. I logged it all really quick--I haven't logged in months but I was curious how the day turned out. It is probably still going to come in okay since I didn't have a real lunch. Just fruit and yogurt as I was so busy running to an appointment.

Finally!

Goodness, isn't it nice that I recently paid $55 to renew here and I'm hardly using it. I think about you all and I want to get on and blog and read blogs. But I've not been making the time for it like I used to. In some ways that's not a bad thing because you all know how CK can suck so much time from your day. So I am a little more productive these days and spending a little more quality time with my little ones. On the other hand, I need the support and social interaction that CK provide...

Healing Piggies!

My little piggies are so much better (Oink! to all of you with the little piggy jokes. :laugh5: )
They are not swollen anymore, I can walk with almost no pain. I can't bend them yet, but they are so much better that I'm thinking they are not broken. :teeth2::teeth1::thumbu2: yes, that deserves three smilies.
I called the personal trainer that does my boot camp class. She was great--she wrote up a strength training routine for me that won't stress my toes and is easy on my shoulder. Seemed like quite a challenge to ...
