The primary reason I signed up and pay to be a member of Calorie King is to lose weight. The side benefit, and the reason people stay members after losing the weight is the improvement in health and energy that they experience. Calorie King is not just another diet program - it is a lifestyle. Tomorrow is my first moment of truth; my first official weekly weigh-in. I have found the Calorie King concept to be the easiest "program" I have ever tried. The snacks keep the munchies at bay and the recording is simple and fun. Like I said in a previous post, it is like a slow moving video game where I have total control over the score. OK. I got off to a late start this morning and had to rush to my train. Consequently, breakfast was late and only amounted to a tomato and a slice of toast. I was busy all morning on a project at work and forgot to eat my morning snack. Lunch time rolls around and my stomach should be rumbling its annoyance at being empty. Here's a question for any of the nutrition experts out there. CK gives me a target intake of calories for each day. What is the down-side of coming up short by a few hundred calories at the end of the day? I eat three meals and four snacks, take a multivitamin, and do not feel deprived or hungry, and still come up short by up to 500 calories. Should I strive to hit the target or is is OK to just leave the deficit at the end of the day? Should I manually adjust my daily calorie target down a...
