I arose this morning feeling good about myself again. :thumbu2: Of course, the fact that it is Saturday and I did not have to go to work helps a lot with the attitude. It is also weigh-in day for me so I went to the scale with the usual fear that I might not like the result. :afraid2: It is a double-beam balance scale so I preset the weights to what I want before stepping on the platform. I was hoping to be down 1-2 pounds so I could add a second smiley (1 for every 10) to my forum signature. I stepped on and the beam did not rise so I moved the small weight to the left until it balanced and - time for the happy dance - THREE POUNDS DOWN!! :clap: I was forced to accept the fact that I had not only met but surpassed my goal for the week. :laugh5: I am ecstatic!! Time for a movie.

This is working like a charm!! :y: Sometimes I wish it would work a little faster but then I remember that I did not get to be this way overnight, why would I expect to shed it over night? Taking it off the same way I put it on - one pound at a time. :teeth1:

I find that the support I get from reading the forums and blogs to be amazingly helpful in keeping things in perspective. Thanks for all your posts and comments. You may have no idea how important they are to those who read them. :kiss:

Congratulations on the 3lbs - my official weigh in day is Monday. My weight has been coming off so slowly these past weeks, I just hope for any movement down although I only need 1lb to get excited. That would put me in the next 10 category - something about little thresholds like that helps the motivation.
