Another week and another weigh-in. I look forward to Saturday all week long, not only because it marks the weekend but because it is my once-a-week opportunity to actually quantify my progress. I Hate Hungry Days

You all know what they are. We have all experienced them. Our weight loss journey is cruising along at a reasonable pace then one day, apparently for no reason whatsoever - WHAM!!- you wake up famished and have to crank up the vigilance as you move about this food-filled world in which we live. :bang: Somehow we manage to weigh and measure our food just like we have learned, but there is that little devil on your shoulder whispering in your ear, "forget about leveling off the scoop, a few more...

Adventures in Eating

One thing is for certain. As I travel down this road of changing my eating habits I find that I am eating things I never considered eating before. It is a real education in flavors and textures. Have you ever dug down to the bottom of your pantry? Or looked way in the back at the stuff shoved up against the wall? I was amazed at the weird things I encountered when I did this.
