This is likely to be old news for many but, for me, it was an amazing discovery. I have had six blended salads this week. I find they are quick and easy, and a very tasty and satisfying way of getting a nourishing meal. The variety is almost endless and I can even toss in a few "super" veggies that I don't particularly care for and they are completely concealed in the menagerie of flavor. OK, this is an excuse not a reason. There is no valid reason for eating a bacon double cheeseburger with fries for lunch yesterday but it sure tasted good. Couple that with some other intentional indiscretions and the end result will most likely be a negative loss for the week. Notice the choice of workd. It is still a weight loss, just a negative weight loss. In spite of my best efforts to derail my weight loss during the convention I attended this past week, I managed to drop another two pounds. I am pleased, to say the least. AND, I am happy to report that my Achilles tendonitis is clearing up and I should be able to get back on an exercise routine. I hate heel and ankle pain and it is a major deterrent to most kinds of exercise involving walking or running. Hopefully, that part is over for now.
