OK, this is an excuse not a reason. There is no valid reason for eating a bacon double cheeseburger with fries for lunch yesterday but it sure tasted good. Couple that with some other intentional indiscretions and the end result will most likely be a negative loss for the week. Notice the choice of workd. It is still a weight loss, just a negative weight loss. I know it is the same thing as gaining but at least is sounds better - a little positive window dressing on what is otherwise a negative result. Even though my goal is to see the scale go lower each week, I made a choice to let it climb a bit this week so that I could indulge myself a bit. I'll find out for sure what the damage is on Saturday. As long as I know why I might come in on the wrong side of the bubble, at least I know ahead of time why and to expect it. This way I completely avoid the sinking depressed feeling when the scale reveals the truth.
I have repeatedly said "I CAN DO THIS" and I know that I can, I just chose NOT to this week and I do not regret it, although I'll need to get another can of grease for the Gazell by the end of next week to get back on track. LOL

This journey is not about being perfect - one of the lessons we must learn along the way is that we can have a bad day or meal and get right back on plan the next day. Just don't let slips turn into relapses!
