I have noticed a marked reduction in my food expenditures since I began this journey. I eat smaller meals even though I eat more often. Veggies and fruit are cheaper than meat. Leftovers become meals for the following day instead of morphing into a brown liquid in the bottom of the fridge because it is easier to eat them than it is to figure out the calorie content on another concoction. Plus, if I'm going to be charged 200 or 300 calories for something, I'm going to enjoy every single morsel of...Thursday, September 4th 2014

Now, a cook will not keep his job for long if he repeatedly gives away food, but when y...Saturday, August 30th 2014
Another week and another weigh-in. I look forward to Saturday all week long, not only because it marks the weekend but because it is my once-a-week opportunity to actually quantify my progress. Last week I weighed in at 306, this morning it dropped to 301.5.
If anyone from the CK IT department is listening, "We need an emoticon for doing the happy-dance!!"
I visualize a miniature Snoopy on top of his doghouse just jiving away to the music playing merrily in his head. I know, there ...
