My Belt

Friday, August 15th 2014

Progress is measured in many ways. Of course, the dreaded scale is the king of methods but there are others that can be just as, if not more, satisfying. Before I began this CK quest I purchased a new belt. It was a comfortable belt. Nothing fancy just a simple piece of leather designed to keep my pants where they belong. Moving Forward

Sunday, August 10th 2014

So, I set out on a course to slim down and live longer. In addition to learning a lot of things about food, I've learned a few things about myself. First, and most important, I am stronger than I thought. Like many if not most people I have a less than commendable track record when it comes to weight loss success. However, I have learned that the past is irrelevant and the only thing that matters is where I am going. And I have full control over my destination.
