I have the double whammy when it comes to an aching foot. I have plantar fasciitis AND Achilles tendonitis in my left foot. I am getting to be good friends with my TENS machine and am living on ibuprofen. The big problem is the pain when I walk. Even the Gazelle makes it hurt. Hitting 10k steps a day is out for the time being but I am still coming in at around 5 to 6k each day. I love getting old. I have a new mantra:Wednesday, July 30th 2014
As a scientist, experimenting is one of the things I do regularly. Chemistry is all about finding the right mixture of ingredients to end up with something that achieves a beneficial result without blowing yourself up in the process. I pulled up my pants this morning and they fit like baggy clown pants and my belt is in one more hole. It's a good thing I saved some of the pants that shrunk (LOL) over the years or I would be shopping this morning instead of sitting at my desk playing on CK. YEA!!!

I've lost track of how many pieces of exercise equipment that I've donated to the Salvation Army over the years. Let's see, there was a stationary bicycle in the 70's, rowing machine in the 80's, a mini-trampoline in the 90's, and at least three "Step-ups" and several unopened work-out videos during this same time period. A couple of years ago I purchased this thing by Tony Little called the Gazelle, which soon became another clothes rack in my bedroom.Sunday, July 27th 2014
