Heading north for a few days. Won't be back until Saturday or Sunday -- so, will miss weigh-in; and do not know if I can blog or forum or university until I get back.

As mentioned on my blog last week, those who begin a new diet as a New Year's resolution statistically "fall off the wagon" on March 18. I think it is not just New Year's Dieters, but everyone starting something new that requires behavior change, new habits, new knowledge, really any CHANGE, is statistically likely to "fail" before 90 days have passed.

Perfect day! Time at church and astounding worship service, lovely Easter breakfast with friends and family (still at church), then time to play with young grand-nephew and visit with niece, finally a beautiful walk together with hubby along the river and a long-distance talk with my dad (who sounds so strong after hip replacement).

Hot topics first: No weight loss this week, but inches are coming down. While I want to be satisfied with that, I took a very close look at my food and exercise diaries and found a few trouble spots. Chocolate was a regular (unnecessary) part of my snacks this week. I probably do not need to have chocolate every day. While I am doing better at avoiding artificial sweeteners, I did have a little most days. Finally, I ate "salty" yesterday, which could have affected my weigh-in...« Previous
