And my smile is because I have such great support through this "no interview" thing.

My hubby (away from home last evening) left me the best note on the fridge. I'll have to post a picture of it later.

Here's what one sister said: "You may feel down about it, but try for only 2 days, and no overeating allowed. This is my rule for inclement news.Love you heart and soul"

And the other sister: "They did you a favor, darlin'."

And my best friend: 'First I say, "Shoot!" (A Southern colloquism which permits ladies to not say the more fragrant word.) Second I say, "What are you saying here, Lord?" I love you. Y'

And my esteemed peers and colleagues: "Sorry if you're disappointed, but I'm very pleased that you'll be here a while longer" and "I'm relieved"

And especially here on CK -- a comment left on yesterday's blog!

So, the lemons are looking better this morning :-)
