View OTTER's food & exercise for this day

No time for much writing this morning. We're getting ready for church (yes, I'm going to church again), and I have a business trip north that starts later today. Travel time today, office time tomorrow, travel back time tomorrow afternoon.

I have not logged my food for three days, and I probably won't get back to logging until Tuesday. But I have had time to log my exercise.

Yesterday Hubby and I were on the bikes from 8:30 a.m. to 1:14 p.m. Out of that time, we were probably off the bikes for 30 minutes to use restrooms along the trail and eat some calories. Our guesstimate is that we rode between 36 and 42 miles, and I burned more than 1900 calories. So, we're ready for the Bike Pedal in August, we just want to improve our time. We would like to shave 45 minutes off course time and I think we can do that if we are better about breaks and how we feed and water ourselves while on course.

I am fatigued by logging my food, all my food, all the time. This may be part of why I am in the plateau. No, it is the other way 'round. I'm in the plateau because I want to eat more freely, not because logging food is any harder than it has ever been. Weight is holding steady, though, because of training for this bike thing. My minutes of exercise have been more than one-third above goal for several weeks.

Hubby and I attended a new church last weekend. I am glad we went, but it is a church that won't work for our needs. This week we will visit a place we have not visited for more than two years. If I recall, we both liked it last time, but we were not attending church together two years ago. So I found a church that was more to my personal liking. But we know now that we want to attend church together no matter what else goes on in our lives. So I look forward to this service and being open to God's will for us through this church community.

I could write lots more. My Spiritual Direction Meeting during the week was very helpful, and the book group meeting was also helpful. Now it is time to get ready for this busy day, though.

Peace be upon you.

I can tell you have grown spiritually an d need a church where you feel you are going to get fed and can grow. Your husband has other needs or is another place. Is this what is going on ? Are you looking to change denominations and your hubby wants to stay in the Catholic church ? This is quite common Otter with couples as spiritual varies even among couples. It has taken my husband and i five years to find a church we both like. GRRRRRRRR>> Patience and prayer that the Lord will bring you to the right body is a must. I also had to get up and keep trying to get out there to find that church when at times I wanted to stay home. There were times I almost lost hope I would never find a place I would be comfortable in again, but the Lord is truly faithful.
