I see my hubby as a Lion, and he is away on business this weekend. So I have played. I'm as ready as I will ever be for next Sunday's bike race.

And I'm ready for the intensity to let off a bit. I have not used the food diaries for a couple weeks now (I think). Just too much else to pay attention to.

Have vowed to return to diaries by race completion, making Aug 11 my fresh-start date.

Still busy at work, and trying not to be discouraged by the things I can't change or control.

Will post a picture of myself from work this week. Technology Trainer may be my title, but I do Help Desk too – which means sometimes I act as the AV Squad. The day of the photo I was readying for a Powerpoint presentation in a Videoconference session. I have wrapped over me a laptop, a projector, a portable table, two BlackBerry devices and the old technology of notepad, pen, and typewritten instructions. I'm wearing my "skinny" pants, one of my favorite "fat" shirts (not ready to let it go), and out-of-dress-code sneakers. I felt good about myself at work that day. An often rare occurrence these days.

Thoughtful time this week spent on PASSION. What does living a passionate life mean? To me? To you?
