Talking to friends and family, and doing some things for myself yesterday and today has really made a difference in my outlook.

My Benefits offer an on-line counseling option, something I'm interested in trying - I love to write but can find it tiresome to travel and talk to a helpful person (weird? maybe).

I walked and did arthritis exercises.

Did a research trip to Home Depot about kitchen cabinet options.

"Played" the ukulele for 40 minutes (or maybe studied is a better word).

And explored why control is such an issue in my grieving process. Acknowledged that this whole process will take time, and I can't give it a limit.

All in all, it made for a much, much better day. May more of these follow.

Soon, I hope to feel strength enough to return to regular diary entries - because those so help my food intake and regular exercise efforts.

Thank you for all the outreach. Kindly people abound, and I am learning how to appreciate, accept, and (slowly) return the friendship and generosity of spirit shown to me.

I'm glad to see things are looking up a bit. Sounds like you've done some good self-care. I understand about on-line writing to a counselor might work for you, and if think you're weird, just look at me! haha. Shalom back at ya, Luv.
