I did my Heart Smart Walk today, as part of a team from the company where I work. We had a gorgeous day, I got to walk with someone from the office that I don't get to visit too often. I have a "secret admiration" for her amazing outlook, work ethic, and attitude. So it was fun to get to know this woman a little better, and to meet her husband and son.

What I learned about me: I can be as active as I need to be (the arthritis won't stop me), but I do need to take special care to stretch and strengthen muscles.

So I think the walk will have done what I'd hoped -- inspire me to get closer to my original goal of 350/minutes per week of exercise.

Getting ready to meet hubby and see the new Star Trek movie. A funny thing to do on such a bright a beautiful day. But I'm looking forward to the time together with my sweetie.
