Maybe not a great vacation day...

Tuesday, July 28th 2009

Day Two of Vacation At Home - high temperature forecast is 103 degrees! Ack! I consider myself a polar otter. When I got home from a late flick last night (almost midnight) it was still well above 90 degrees outside, and house was still about 85 degrees. Finally turned in during the wee hours this morning, and I set my alarm for 5:30 a.m. Got up immediately at the alarm, made sure all windows and doors are open, and taking care of computer business while it is at the coolest point of day (7...

My favorite kind of vacation day - stay at home day!

Thursday, July 16th 2009

In times of trouble in my life, in my night time dreams I often dream I am onion-blind. That is, I am have a dream about one thing or another, I feel I can't see, it is the type of not seeing that happens to me when I chop onions. Eyes so burning and stinging I can't see anything.

I did a web search on "dreams meaning blind" and the most salient definition I can find is that my conscious mind things I'm overlooking something important. Literally.

<sigh> I often do w...
