NEW SCALE!

Monday, January 21st 2008

My local variety store must know that there are lots of new year's resolutions going on -- they had bathroom scales on sale. I found one that is digital and measures bodyfat. So that will be my new scale to use.

Tested this morning: 158.4# (down from start weight of 167). 1.4 pounds to reach my first goal!

Keeping my body fat % my own secret for now. Next goal: On reaching 157# will take body measurements and keep track of body fat %.

Goals / Rewards, etc ...

Sunday, January 20th 2008

This weekend I went through the early CKU lessons on setting goals and making rewards. (I think I'm up to some of the week 3 lessons. Some of the week 1 & 2 lessons won't mark "complete" even though I did complete them.)

Yesterday, the gift of a perfect day...

Tuesday, January 15th 2008

Hard to believe a Monday could be perfect for a wage slave, but it was.

I ate properly and was satisfied by my meals. I felt hunger before my meals and thanked God for a healthy body that could respond appropriately.

I accomplished good things at the office, and didn't worry about what had to be pushed aside.

I exercised in the morning, working on improving my balance and continuing to strengthen the knee that had ACL surgery.

I walked at night and noticed the evening sky an...

Adjustment phase...

Saturday, January 12th 2008

Just back from first business trip since I began with Calorie King. Yuk - did dreadfully with my foods. I've learned I cannot just eyeball a menu and know what foods will be within my calorie range. Maybe someday, but not now, not in the second week of program.

I did stay moving - walking and using the Stretch & Pray book out of Augsburg publishers.

Once I looked at my charts for the past two weeks I had an self-image of never reaching goal weight.

<sigh> Enuf of tha...
