I just have to state how much I am loving how I am changing and becoming a smaller person.
I love that:

I don't automatically feel like/think I'm the fattest person in a room

I don't worry so much about people using the adjective "chubby" or "heavy set" to describe me

my husband has found new ways to hug me because my waist is much smaller

I can hold the cello much closer to my chest when I play (because there's a lot less "chest" )

I don't have to stretch out my tshirts before I put them on for my arms to get through comfortably

I have a much more radiant skin complexion (likely due to weight loss and the vegan diet)

I crave exercise instead of loathing it

I feel like I have control over what I put in my mouth

I have some muscle definition in my arms
and so much more! There are so many reasons I am loving this smaller me!
It has been SUCH a challenge getting down to 200. When I started CK I was just over 230 (around 233)... but I had even lost about 20 lbs before joining CK... so it's been about a 50 lb journey to get from my almost-highest weight last year, to my almost-lowest weight this year.
And this morning, I mean, I don't want to jinx it - my scale told me 200.6 ... I am SO CLOSE to getting into the 100's.
BUT... I don't want to get too comfy at the point I am at. The past few days, my mantra has been - THIS IS GOING TO BE THE LAST TIME I LOSE WEIGHT. which means... I am going to do this... I am going to get down to my goal weight of 150.
So here are some goals I have once I break 200:

Break 190 by Feb 1st 2010

Break 175 by April 5th 2010 (my birthday)

Reach goal weight of 150 by August 18th 2010 (my anniversary)
and although I'm not sure how they correspond to the above number-based goals... here are some additional goals:

get into size 10s by March 2010

be able to do 20 consecutive push ups by March 2010

start running in January 2010

join a bellydancing class early 2010
So... I've got a lot of work to do... no stalling or getting comfy for me!!!

Great goals, and great focus Nicole!
I have found that since I run challenges, it's easier for me to stay on target as well as motivating others to do so too. You have found yourself a nice little niche here on CK. We all love you and are proud of your success!

Thanks for the post on my blog!
I'm the redhead in the pictures. Kind of hard to tell what my hair color is on my profile picture...it looks a lot darker then it is on there. LOL.
