View PLATEOFSTARS's food & exercise for this day

I was talking to a coworker a few weeks ago about weight loss. She, herself, lost somewhere around 50 lbs last year through weight watchers and has kept it off. I know it was a long, personal battle for her to drop the weight so when she engages in conversation with me about my weight loss or compliments me... it means a lot.

So when I saw her a few weeks ago and she really remarked on my weight loss and the difference she could see - I was really honoured.

She made a comment that she found that people start noticing and commenting again after every 15-20 lbs that you lose and I think she's right. Once I had got down to 210 people noticed I had lost weight and now those same people are starting to notice again that I am (still) losing weight.

Today a different coworker was really encouraging with her compliments... how genuine she was in her assessment of how much my hard work shows. I think my weight loss is motivating for her as well... when I told her I've lost 40 lbs she said "that's about how much I need to lose... how long did it take you?" and when I told her less than 6 months she was positively surprised.

So here's to a GOOD weight day! :thumbu2:
