Monday, Mar 15 2010 - Reinvorated and pulling out some COWA

Over the past three weeks it's been like pulling teeth getting the scale to move downward. I know there is a lot I could be doing in the calorie consumption department - i've been fairly lax about my portion sizes and what I have been choosing to eat. :cross2:

Nevertheless I have been training quite hard for the race I ran yesterday and trying to do more weight training at the gym.

Pretty disappointing when the scale doesn't react to such hard work.

So this morning... hoping with my fingers crossed I stepped on the scale and got all crabby that there had been no change since Friday.

BUT, still true to myself I logged onto CK to put in my weekly weight. When I did my measurements though, I realized that, even though the scale hasn't really budged, my body is still changing/shrinking. :teeth2:

Since the 22nd of February, exactly 3 weeks ago I've gone down:
2" in the waist
0" in the hips
2" in the chest
1" in my thighs

Ok ok... I'm now reinvigorated - but I'm still whipping out that COWA...!! No slacking for this loser! :eyebrows:

I would not worry about the number on the scale. Looks like you are just toning that body & putting on muscle. Keep up the good work.

And wowser on your 5K, you really rocked it. Looks like you averaged a 9 minute pace. Congrats!!!

COWA BUNGA DUDE! Don't ask, I'm silly. But amazing results on the inches lost - that is a lot of inches for just a month's worth of work!

Also, didn't get to congratulate you on your 5K time - was there smoke burning off your shoes?
