PICTURES!!!! :-)
So I cleared 175 last week which was a weight milestone for me for a while.
My reward was a pain au chocolat. Not that a pain au chocolat has SO many calories, it was just the principle of making myself wait for something. To earn it. To turn something I used to eat on a regular basis (twice a week) into something that was a treat for special occassions.
So here it is folks... me indulging!

I've seen the ads around my neighbourhood for the past couple of summers and barely even glanced at them, least of all gave them a thought. Any thought would have been in the vicinity of "that's for crazy people who are already in ok shape who want to be in even better shape."
Now I will put myself in my category of "crazy" because I'm seriously thinking of joining one of those "Best Body Bootcamps"!!!

A couple of thoughts today.
First of all... WOW!
I have been making sure to get to the gym 3 times a week for weight training and, wow! can I ever see the difference. My arms, back, shoulders, and chest are getting really toned!
I never ever thought I would have nice armpits but I have this amazing hollow in them now that I've been really working the upper body. SO proud of myself!
Second - I sometimes can't believe I'm still shrinking. Maybe because the scale hasn't...

It seems like it took a long time... but I finally made it to another interim goal weight. I guess it's seemed like a long time because I've been a few pounds away for more than a few weeks... I've been anticipating 175 for quite a while!
My weight has just been all over the place the past few weeks. Some days 178, 176, 174 even (but very rarely) - it hasn't been until the last 3 days that it has consistently rested on 175.

In my last blog, I posted some things I am going to commit to, but they aren't tangible enough for me to measure. So here are some hard commitments I'm going to make over the coming weeks.
1) Attend pilates on Tuesdays with my husband.
2) Sign up for the 10K run on May 2nd (done!).
3) Cut back on eating out for meals, no more than 1x/week (being back from vacation helps).
4) Spend some time alone over the coming days/weeks to reflect on my goals, my aspirations, my success a...
