My manager just plunked a FULL box of 40 timbits (for you americans... donut holes) on the little table RIGHT outside my cubicle. Could she have put them on the table in front of her OWN office, yes. Could she have put them on the table outside the cubicle of the pregnant woman on our team, yes! Could she have put them in the kitchen, YES!

Did she have to put them on the table in front of ME (with little traffic from our team passing by)... in front of the woman she knows is working REALLY HARD to lose weight and whom she asked if I wanted them there and I strongly said NO to...??

Sometimes I wonder if people are intentionally trying to sabotage me or if they are just *that* naive. Grr...

Anyway... I refuse to remain pissy about it... I am going to ignore their existence. After a while I will potentially toss most of them in the garbage and leave the nearly empty box exactly where it is. :devious:

So, on to other topics.

DILIGENCE.

I have been so BAD the last week!!! I let myself get away with it because I knew I had my 10k race coming up and I felt like I could let go a little bit... but it is SO BACK TO WORK TIME for me.

I've been having larger portions than I should, eating "treats" on a regular basis, and what the FUZZ!??? I've been late night snacking again! :angry2:

I'm doing so well with the exercise but I've got to match my gym efforts with my mouth efforts!

And to top things off... I've been logging poorly. Whether not logging everything or carrying things over to the next day or absolutely FORGETTING foods I've eaten altogether.... I really need to shape up my efforts in the food department.

So here's my goal.... no more than gross 1450 calories per day for the next 7 days. Next Monday I will report on how I did. This is going to be a challenge now that I've gotten used to having more. :thumbu2:

Sounds like maybe just maybe she did the whole leave the donuts right in front of you thing on purpose. I wonder sometimes if people dont do that stuff just to see if they can break you. I dont like when people do that. Can't they just be suportive!! Jealousy...that is what that is about. I know your going to ignore them anyways so her attempt is futile but still...that is just wrong.

Time to get back on track chica, you can do it!!

You can do what I do. I will move them to another location!
I have done that before and I just say, I don't want them near me ;-)
I hate when people do stuff like that!

I think your boss is trying to sabotage you or maybe test your will -- and either option is crappy. I'd move them myself and if she asks, let her know they were a huge temptation and I didn't want to deal with that distraction from the very important work I am doing, which of course was assigned by her. =D
