My husband asked me yesterday, half-joking, half-seriously - "Are you going to become anorexic and not know when to stop losing weight?"

I'm not sure how to handle that one... it's tough because I know he means well, but I am not approaching anorexic... gosh, I'm still in the "overweight" BMI category (3 lbs away from clearing it though!)

I suppose it is a valid concern though... someone who has been losing weight so long could potentially get addicted to the losses but I really don't think that's a concern for me. I love food way too much! :laugh5:

I have to tell you... I am biting at the BIT to get to 150 so I can increase my calories for maintenance... and I think I've just about had it with losing weight. I could do with having some predictability in my life with regard to what I look like, what size I am, what clothes fit, etc.

So, yeah, this post is really about checking in with myself after having been asked a serious question... and my conclusion is that I don't think there's anything to worry about. :y:

Another couple of thoughts...

Scale's still not really moving... frustrates the heck out of me. Didn't help that I lost my tape measure so I haven't been logging any measurements lately. I found it though, yesterday and discovered that all my measures have stayed the same, except I somehow lost 2 inches from my waist in the past 3 weeks. Crazy! :afraid4:

I've been changing up my exercise lately... I didn't exactly PULL my groin muscle but it's been SUPER cranky lately and not wanting to actually pull it, I've been going easy on it. I saw a massage therapist yesterday and have been putting in more time with yoga. Hopefully that helps. I'll get back to running maybe on wednesday or thursday this week?

I've been REALLY enjoying soccer... Being a long distance runner I'm not used to sprinting but BOY do I have the cardio for it! You should see me zip from one end of the field to the other! My strategy on Saturday's game (I'm a forward) was to get my defence men to follow me across the field and then zip back to the other side... them not being able to keep up with me made an empty space in the field... at least for a minute or two! :laugh5:

What else? OH! I've realized in the last few days just how much my legs have shrunk and that I have a lot of muscle definition going on in there! Wow! I am so impressed with myself!

Anyway, just a couple thoughts today.

Graet photo! I really enjoy seeing the pictures of the new you, you look amazing!

I dont think that you have anything to worry about as far as being anerexic, I think he was just teasing more then anything, sometimes changes in our size can really be such a big reality check to our significant others and they think since they are not used to seeing you so small that your too small. You will know when you reach the right size for you. I have no doubt about that. Your doing this the healthy way and that is what is going to make all the difference in the world for you. We are so proud of you.

So glad that your having such a great time with soccer. Woo Hoo on the leg definition!!! :thumbu2:

Glad to hear you're enjoying soccer. Did you just start playing this summer? I'm looking into leagues in my area. I don't play hockey much in summer, so I'm looking for another sport. Do you play coed or on a womens team?

You are looking fabulous! And I second your feelings on breaking into a new decade. Since you are taller than me, I think your desire to break into the 150s is the same as my desire to bust into the 140s. Ugh. We will get there, in due time.

I enjoyed the thoughts on the soccer. You know, I always thought I wasn't any good at sports. I bet it was more that I wasn't in shape! hahaha
