A friend of mine recommended a friend of hers to help me with personal training. Apparently he has a "Masters in Soccer" which he got in China (where he's from) so I got really excited about working with him. My soccer skills could definitely use some help.

Anyway, after sending a few emails back and forth regarding what my current exercise regime is like... I got this email (english isn't his first language):

Hi Nicole,

Sorry about the delayed reply. I was thinking how I can help you effectively these days because you are already in a high level on weight maintainance. Your workout schedule looks like for an athlete who is going to play Olympic game.

I won't change your workout schedule because it looks good, also, I need more detail information on Cardio and weight training. For example, what is the speed of running; how many minutes you spend on long distance run; what are the exercises of the resistance training, and so on.

Here are some ideas:
1. I would like to combin abs strength training with soccer skills. Train what you need in the soccer game and make it interesting.

2. Introduce some cardio exercises into soccer physical training which is also good for weight loss.

3. Improve your carrying ball, shooting and long distance passing skills, which can make you feel happy in the game.

4. Teaching you some soccer strategy and how you can cooperate with your teamates.

I will try my best to help you, definitely.

So you are going to keep playing soccer. It must be great to be compared to an Olympic Athelete in training. Wowsers!
