Last week I went back out to BC to visit my mom.
She has advanced heart failure and its complications (angina, shortness of breath, restricted mobility, etc), advanced diabetes and its complications (namely peripheral neuropathy... chronic pain essentially which is incurable and even the best drugs can't completely eliminate), asthma, kidney failure (related to diabetes?) and many more conditions.
She has a really sad and difficult life. It's hard to see her like that, you know? My b...

So I was just about to get used to being a size 8 and all of a sudden I'm a 6???
Every size 6 I tried on today at Winners (crossing multiple brands) fit.

I posted this in the forums but I just have to catalogue this day in my blog.
I hit 163.4 today which clears me out of the "overweight" BMI range.
Now NO ONE can legitimately call me overweight.
WHAT A HUGE FEELING I HAVE TODAY... but light!

So I found an old picture last night... not that old actually, just from Christmas 2008.
Sometimes I forget how different I look now, but this picture just blows my mind!
In some ways, my mind doesn't think I look any different now, but in other ways, I just can't even believe it was me, you know?
Anyway - here's another photo to counter that one... took it after coming back from weight training. Look at my shoulder and chest muscles grow!!

I went out with a group of friends last night - several of whom I've seen as recently as a month or two ago, some I haven't seen in several months.
Of those I've seen recently I got a comment "Have you lost even MORE weight since I saw you last?" and of those I haven't seen in a while I got the comment "Wow, you're getting TINY".
Interesting word...
tiny!
Never in my entire life would I have EVER imagined the adjective "tiny" to be used to describe ...
