Monday, Jul 26 2010 - Haven't done THAT in a while...
View PLATEOFSTARS's food & exercise for this day
Wow...
I ate TWO days worth of calories yesterday.
I haven't done that in a long long time.
I can see how it happened though... I got injured during my soccer game on Saturday and was all out of sorts for the whole day. I couldn't get my mind off food. Totally a comfort thing.
THEN... I went to a wedding yesterday. Plenty of wine, which impairs my judgement/perspective on calories and how much I'm consuming... and that general celebratory feeling of "how often do I go to weddings... let loose a bit nicole!"
I'm not going to beat myself up about it... I see how it happened and am totally bummed that this is going to be a hard week staying very close to my minimum calories so I don't see a gain on the scale... which will be more difficult given I can do any weight bearing on my wrist.
BUT... I'll do it... because even though I don't want to always give in to that voice... that voice has a point. I haven't been to a wedding in almost 3 years and it's ok to let loose...once in a very long while.
BUT... doesn't mean you get to ride that excuse any longer than a day. Back to 1200~ calories for me today!!!!!

It happens. So long as it isn't a habit, it's no big deal. You know why, you know what you need to do now. It's all good!

i have been there girl. totally. have you considered just letting yourself maintain for a while? giving yourself permission to not just happen to maintain, but to intentionally maintain and just stay at your current weight for a while?
IMHO you look great and i think you feel great too. for me anyway, i got to a point where it couldn't be about that number of lbs anymore. and i finally realized 5 more pounds would not do it... you have lost 100 lbs... what a success you are!

What kind of injury did you sustain? I hope it's not too bad. I'm sure you'll bounce back from the feeding frenzy of yesterday. I can't see how 2400 calories will derail your weight. But it's good that you're not going to 'beat yourself up' over it.
:cool1:
The key words being, "I haven't done that in a long time." in there lies the secret to your success methinks.

Looks like we need to get out the extra-strength COWA this week. I like to let loose every now and then by planning for it and then I don't feel too bad.

I'm sorry you were injured. Now that you've got that bad experience behind you, you can move forward. A new day!

Oh wine + any type of party = way too much food! Like you said you haven't done that in a long time and hopefully your weigh in won't reflect it
