Wow,
Down at 151.2 this morning. I've never seen the scale dip that low!
Granted it was after a 10k run - but still.
I'm not trying to lose anymore weight but I won't lie that I would be personally more content to be hovering at or around 150 vs 154.
Some observations I want to note:
- my belly is really firming up - with fat reduction, muscle toning and skin firming. I'm gettting a lot closer to not having any belly "hanging" anymore.
- I have almost no extra fat on my arms. They are the type of arms that you can tell are muscular even when they are hanging at my sides. No complaints here about that! :-)
- My legs are pretty awesome. I have some great definition in my quads and the extra fat is becoming less and less.
- Sadly my breasts continue to shrink. sigh.
- people who have met me in the past 6 months have no clue about my weight loss. They just think I've always been thin.
- I have stopped using words like "chubby" or "overweight" or "curvy" or even "average" to describe myself. I know I am fit, heck even athletic, so when i describe my physique I am no longer shy to use those adjectives.
- I have no clothes. again. It's coming upon winter and I am seriously lacking a wardrobe. New jackets and suits and party dresses are all on my to-purchase list... and these are not cheap items!
- I have really changed my "style" - my body is a completely different shape now and I find there are different things about my body I prefer to hide and others that I prefer to show off. Before I would always try to minimize my gigantic bosom. Now I don't care. I would wear long shirts to cover my belly, now I even tuck in my shirts. I love my collar bones and shoulders and often buy shirts and dresses that show those off. And my legs!! I love wearing mid-length dresses and skirts to show them off.
hm - that's about it for now.
151. Unbelievable.
This time one year ago I was 223. wow.

It's funny that you mention you like to show off your collar bones...I use mine as a progress indicator. When I was at my heaviest I couldn't see them, but now they're peaking out a little more everyday. Keep showing off! That's one of the perks of getting where you are...P.S. open-back shirts and dresses are fun, too!
