Chuuu-PA!
That's what I say to those 3 pounds I gained a few weeks ago. Suckas! You're OUTTA HERE!
Went back to basics, was more careful with watching my calorie intake, diligent about exercising, LOGGED, and let time do it's thing and VOILA. Back at 152.
In other news - got a glimpse of myself in the mirror at the gym from the side while doing assisted tricep dips and HOLY FREAKIN COW am I TINY.

Ok
So I have felt over the past few days that I might have gained weight. Got on the scale and realized I'm right.
It's not a lot. 3, maybe 4 pounds max. I am really bummed about it, but I suppose this is part of the maintenance process right? Learning when we've gone over in calories, modifying and getting ourselves back in line.
So... here I am. Getting myself back in line. Correcting some bad habits that have crept up in the past few weeks:

Yesterday I had brunch with a friend who has lost weight over the summer.
She's lost 15-20 lbs and is going through a process of re-adjusting her mental image of herself. She was telling me how she has to now stop thinking of herself as "chubby"... I remember one thing she said was "a chubby person doesn't wear size 4" and I laughed. It's true, but how difficult it is for all these concrete external facts to become internalized impressions of ourselves!
