Grumble grumble...

"You were right."

That's my eating-crow for the day to the universe, mostly my CK universe, where countless times I had been told to "try increasing your calories to break a stall in weight loss."

I was happy to stop losing weight when I was hovering between 154-156 though I did feel a wee bit sad that I wouldn't get down to that final "number" I'd been coveting this past year... 150.

But I was ok with it! Honestly!

Wow,

Down at 151.2 this morning. I've never seen the scale dip that low!

Granted it was after a 10k run - but still.

I'm not trying to lose anymore weight but I won't lie that I would be personally more content to be hovering at or around 150 vs 154.

Some observations I want to note:
- my belly is really firming up - with fat reduction, muscle toning and skin firming. I'm gettting a lot closer to not having any belly "hanging" anymore.

A quick entry...

Well -

This entry is just me popping in to say hello and that I know I've been quite absent from CK lately, but that I've got a lot going on in my personal life and I seem to be doing fairly well wit the maintenance thing.

Since going into maintenance (3 weeks?) I've hovered between 154.0 and 156.5. Today at 154.4. I'm happy with that. So long as I don't jump any higher than 158, I am satified with my size. I'd be slightly happier if I could be hovering more between 150-153, but it...

The coat story continues...

Today was an incredibly empowering day.

I went back to the store with the gorgeous jacket in the window - walked in with my head high - perused the racks (which were full of shi-shi, hoity-toity over-priced "designer" clothing), found the only other version of the coat that was in the store (other than the one in the window), tried it on, then asked if the one in the window...

was a smaller size. (!!!!)

It was. Tried it on.

It fit. like. a. glove.

Yesterday I walked past a boutique clothing store and saw a gorgeous jacket in the window and thought to myself I would come later, when the store opened, to see how much it costs.

This is one of the first times I haven't thought twice about whether or not they'd have one in my size.

Wow.
