Today is the official launch of "Buy Nothing Month" for me. Normally this sort of thing wouldn't bother to be mentioned here... but I'm finding that Buy Nothing Month, an unexpected by-product is that I will have to plan very well my meals in advance which is going to help me stay on track with calories. Yes! :thumbu2:

Buy Nothing Month means I will not spend money on:
- Clothing
- Presents (if I want to give a present, I have to make it)
- Entertainment (e.g. concerts)

I've noticed something lately... that I get really ravenous and then I eat and the afterward I get this really uncomfortable "full" feeling.

I hate it.

And I think I've pin-pointed what the issue is.

(Of course I know) I'm smaller. I require fewer calories. The sheer amount of food I used to eat 6 months ago, a year ago needs to be less because I NEED less.

Haven't done THAT in a while...

Wow...

I ate TWO days worth of calories yesterday.

I haven't done that in a long long time.

I can see how it happened though... I got injured during my soccer game on Saturday and was all out of sorts for the whole day. I couldn't get my mind off food. Totally a comfort thing.

THEN... I went to a wedding yesterday. Plenty of wine, which impairs my judgement/perspective on calories and how much I'm consuming... and that general celebratory feeling of "how often ...

Recommitting

This is a blog post to refresh my commitment to these last 10 lbs.

1) I will log everyday, faithfully and accurately

2) I will strive for a green bar

3) I will not consume more than 1350 net

4) I will not "eat back" more than 200 (250 if I'm really pushing it) of my exercise calories

5) I will, at least: run 9K/week once, play soccer once, weight train twice and do yoga once. At least.

6) I will avoid crappy foods, even if they are "low calorie"...

Scared

So this blog post is about being scared.

Mortified, in fact, about the possibility of gaining the weight back. I've worked so... so... hard this past year. The idea of ever getting to a place where I let that go, that I don't pay attention or respect the hard work I've done is really incredibly frightening.

I've mentioned a few times before that I've been keeping front and profile pics of myself since I joined CK. I'd lost about 25 lbs before joining CK but hadn't started the pictur...
