Wow, I can't believe my goal weight is 105 lbs less than what I currently weigh. It's the size of a small female. What the hell?! How did this happen? Okay well here are a few things I definitely know:

* I am overwieght.
* It's extremely hard to lose it.
* I do not exercise.
* I don't know how to control my intake.
* I do not like the way I look / feel about myself.
* I need to make a change.

This isn't my first attempt at weight loss. I did try the Atkins back in 2004 and was successful in losing almost 50 lbs. The pounds didn't stay off and in fact came back with it's extended family (including second and third cousins I'm sure). I didn't want to be 40 and overweight but here I am. The nice thing about that list up there is that all of those things can be changed. I may not do it anytime soon but there they are in all their glory.

Today is day one. Tomorrow may also be day one. It may never be anything but day one but here I am at least.

Congrats on starting your journey! I have started and stopped and sputtered and stalled, but I am determined to stick with it. Kids and work and home and hubby all take time, but I have def. decided it's time to take time for me. Logging your food is the BEST way to learn how to control your intake...it's a simple matter of calories in / calories out! Good luck and let me know if you have any questions...I'm dang near an expert on HOW to lose weight...if I could only apply it to my lifestyle!! :laugh5:
