i haven't lost more than 5 pounds for the ENTIRE month of may! i am so frustrated. part of the problem is that there have been so many family gatherings and cookouts, etc. and i don't do well at those times. i have such a hard time restraining myself from eating what everyone else is eating. then, i find that i have no idea what i actually ate. it's terrible. and i tell myself that i am going to do well, but it just all goes to pot and i give in and eat the fattening foods. i am really ready to buckle down, but i am also teetering between that and the feeling of giving up. i don't want to give up though! i am just SO frustrated.

Hang in there Raeanne. You can do this! I've been right where you are and only a couple of weeks ago. I went from losing 10 lbs per month to 10 pounds in almost 3 months. I played with the same 5 pounds for weeks.
:clap:Now go on - get moving and logging. There is no end date to this plan - it's a lifestyle change. If you do the program, the weight will come off.

First, forget about May. It's almost over. Start fresh today. Look at it as at least you didn't gain and move forward. Start logging and hitting your calorie targets. One day at a time. Don't you feel better with the 30 lbs you've lost. Think how good it will feel when it's 35, 40, 45, ... Set some goals in the goal setter. Look back at your previous goals check-ins. I did that this weekend and found I've really come a long way and I wasn't giving myself credit for it.
