View RAEANNESISSON's food & exercise for this day

in the past when i got to about 180 lbs i became satisfied and stopped the weight loss. i do still believe that at 180 i look pretty damn good. however, i do want to go all the way this time! i am afraid that 140 might be "too skinny" for me... but i won't know until i get there.

i am also hoping that i will be in shape and a "fit" 145 with muscle and tone. i just looked to see that i am more than halfway to my goal. i have lost about 64 pounds and i have about 49 left! that's crazy!

i am finding that now seven months into the program i feel so empowered like i CAN do this. i am finding the urges to go out to eat with friends in social situations don't feel as compelling. just last night a friend invited me out for italian but i didn't go... i didn't feel guilty about it either! i wasn't rude or anything but nothing at that restaurant was in my plan for the day.

after my workout i really wanted to try subway's new buffalo chicken sub. i knew it was low fat but i was nervous about the sodium. i sat in my car for about 15 minutes searching the web with my phone for the info. i was right, 1400 mg of sodium! yikes! so i decided to drive home and stuck to a lean pocket with a spinach salad.

i am eating more natural, whole foods! spinach is my new best friend! :) i need to find some soup recipes though because with the cold weather i want something warm!

I have an excellent squash and sweet potato soup that has no sodium. (and it's super easy to make and freezes really well) If this sounds like something you'd like to try, let me know and I'll give you the recipe!

Wow! I'm just so excited for you. To have such strength and joy from within is really powerful, and I think that you're finding that it seems to provide a special boost - and extra momentum - for staying on the healthy path toward your goal. Regardless of your final number, keep driving towards that destination, and enjoy the journey. Spinach is awfully lucky to have found a friend like you, and I'm sure the other greens in the grocery aisle are getting jealous! :) I am a complete soup junkie, so I'll be sending some awesome soup recipes your way this week. Thanks for the great blog update!

You look awesome, and are an inspiration!! 140 scares me too which is why I set my goal to 150. Maybe when I get to 150 I'll feel empowered enough to go for another 10... I'm sure I sailed by 140 in jr. high. I don't remember though.
I have a great crock pot pasta fagioli recipe I can give you. Great fiber content & tons of veggies.
