View RAEANNESISSON's food & exercise for this day

1. how do so many people get here, to read my blog, that i have never seen before on CK? I LOVE all the feedback! :)

2. why is running so mental? i just got home from a run around my neighborhood and i stopped dead in my tracks a couple times because i felt like i just couldn't go on... but i caught my breath right away (like my heart rate just stalled immediately) and i kept on! i SERIOUSLY need to get an ipod and fast! running is so boring!

3. why do some people call it running, and others, jogging? Is there truly a difference?

4. what happens when i decide to get pregnant? will i be able to keep off this weight? gosh i hope so!!!

5. i enjoyed a delicious (i mean DELICIOUS) oatmeal coconut chocolate chip cookie on sunday night that i made homemade from a batch i made for my husband... it was SO GOOD but i felt really "hungover" monday morning. the feeling even lingered to this morning. i think it was an overload of sugary goodness (or should i say badness?)

6. i LOVE ck and how great everyone here supports each other. it really is amazing. i even feel like i'm making some new friends. :)

7. it's hard to believe that i am 45 lb from goal! i CANNOT wait and it drives me even more to do what it takes to get there.

well that's all the randoms i have for now.... i'm off to find something for dinner and to maybe do some studying for my class i'm in right now. (getting my master's at university of illinois...)

:hi: -- I first decided that I was a "runner" when I went for a run without my ipod, and didn't mind it...but cranking the tunes in your ears definitely helps. And, here's a quote for you that sums it up..."the difference between a jogger and a runner - is a race entry form" :laugh5: -- congratulations on your progress so far...and, lastly, when you decide to get pregnant, you have all the tools you need to continue to eat healthy. You will for sure gain some weight back, but you'll be starting from a much better place, health wise, and you'll be able to keep things under control!

Sounds like you're doing really well and you have a great attitude. // The "official" difference between jogging and running is that running is 9 minute miles or faster, but I count it all as running. :thumbu2://Keep up the great work.

Definitely recommend an iPod AND the little Nike+ thingy that supposed to fit into your Nike shoe and the thingy that connects into your iPod (they come together). Basically, it tracks your running progress. At the start of a run (or jog! :) ) you "tell" it how far/long you plan to jog, and it gives you updates along the way -- as in, "You have 30 minutes left... You've just finished 4 miles! You've just had your best time ever for a 5K!" Super motivating! And it tracks it all at some Nike website -- you can even post the updates to your Facebook account!

BTW - the little piece that would normally fit into your Nike+ shoe looks like a bean. You can put it in a running wallet or a little thing that's made for the "bean" if you don't have Nikes -- I don't, and it works fine.

#5 is awesome! It shows how your body is responding to "junk food" and I really love how aware you are of this! I have been reading your blogs and I am just so inspired by you.
