View RAEANNESISSON's food & exercise for this day
does anyone else feel like they would be better off pouring their water bottle directly into the toilet? i spend way too much time peeing. as i type this i am on the verge of an "accident" because i don't feel like getting up to pee. lazy or what?
isn't it crazy how we learn so much about food here at CK and how successful you can become by learning? knowledge is power!
my husband feels inferior because he has not had the health successes that i have had. i try to tell him that i was just exactly in the same situation a year ago until i made a deliberate choice to stop being unhealthy. he says my arms are more buff than his and it bothers him. he feels like that guy who people are going to say "who is that guy with that hot girl and why is she with him?" about. i feel bad... i want him to be successful.
it's so amazing how many people who i know that have started using CK as a direct result of my success. i love inspiring people! it makes the ebbs and flows of weight loss so much more worth it to see others being motivated and working the program.
i hate meetings at work and i can't wait for summer... so i can start training for that scary half marathon! woohoooo. s c a r y.

I sometimes thing people believe I have an illness because I am constantly going to the bathroom! ha!
Yes, running many many miles is scary. But just think how both of us will feel when we cross our respective finish lines. I visualize myself doing it sometimes as I run. I picture me crossing the finish line and doing a victorious fist pump to the sky. You will do it! And so will I...

Aw I'm sorry about the hubby's feelings. But, there is nothing you can do but assure him you love him, and keep being the incredible example of health you have become.
As for the half-marathon, you can already do a 10K, and if you can do that, you can do twice that, no problem. :-)

Aww don't feel bad, counteract his comments with, "so I can hold you tighter", so I can help you pick you up when you fall down, ... Remind him that its more about the physical results he is currently seeing, its about feeling healthy, about being able to become pregnant later in the future and having a baby that is healthy, etc....Continue to remind him that it is much more than the beauty aspect in that life could get in the way and the physicality aspect of weightloss could all be gone in a second. Remind him of what exactly it was that made you attractive to him and vice versa, as it was a combination of the two that brought you together, etc. As for the water and running,, I try to drink half of my water early in the morning and leaving a cut off time aroun 11:00 a.m. and no more liquids until after I run. You will learn more tricks of the trades as you begin your marathon training.

to add to my randoms:
why do i have to pee each and every time i run? even if i pee directly before beginning, it never fails that my bladder is full for every step of my 3 or 4 miles. no bathroom in sight...
