Monday, May 10 2010 - unloggable bites

View RAEANNESISSON's food & exercise for this day

so... i normally make my lunches on sunday night. since this last weekend was extremely busy, i have decided that this weekend i will just make my lunches "as i go" and maybe spice it up a little and not have the same exact thing everyday.

i just made my lunch for tomorrow and got my breakfast all prepared, sliced and cleaned the fruits and veggies, etc. and of course, i had to taste everything at least once. of course, these bites are not loggable because i have no freakin' idea how much or what exactly i just consumed. i just find myself sitting here totally full and i know i overdid the 'bites'. i think tomorrow i will make it a goal to not eat anything that isn't LOGGED or LOGGABLE.

1500 calories isn't enough raeanne? seriously. i know i went over at least by 100-300. grr.

no exercise makes it hard... today was a rest day.

i'm just frustated. even after a very busy weekend full of EXTRA foods and sugars, i managed to be down this morning from last monday. that is AWESOME but now i fear that this "third" day of extras will do me in. fingers crossed that it won't... not like it's a binge, but it bothers me to be less than perfect or even closer to perfection.

i have the hardest time at night and once i get home the snacking begins. i hate it. i try to have a snack before i come home but it doesn't work. something about being home... idle hands.

Bea is right about the tea. Really make the tea into an ordeal too. Have a few options to pick. If you can use a tea spoon instead of a bag do it, put fresh water on the stove, pick your favorite mug. Pick a comfy place to enjoy the tea and maybe take a 10min power nap. Hope this can help!

Reanne, I used to have the same problem when I came home from work. It is because you are tired and releasing the work stress. Food is a way to do this. Best thing to do is a hot bath, a cup of tea, and a nap if you need it. I have a lot of problems confusing tired and hungry. It is just a learned response to push through being tired, I think.
