Wow...it's been a while. The site has totally changed since I was here last. I keep seeing the $9 deducted out of my checking account every month and I think I signed a year contract, so I figured I might as well check back and see what's been going on. Thank you everyone who sent me private messages. I just saw them all and am a little overwhelmed by the support.

It's been a difficult 6 months or so. I spent a couple months in the hospital hooked up to a feeding tube. Just got a $100,000.00 bill in the mail for that. Lovely! Still trying to figure that one out. The drug and alcohol treatment center I was working at couldn't keep my position open for more than a couple weeks so they had to let me go. Luckily PetSmart has enough employees that I don't think they missed me much, so I still had a job there when I got out. After a few weeks back part-time PetSmart decided to hire me as a full-time employee. With a BS in interior design and an MS in Psychology, I never imagined I'd go back to working in retail full time, but come to find out - I love PetSmart! Love animals...love to talk to people about their animals...unfortunately - the pay sucks! But I have benefits for the first time in a looong time. So, I'll probably stay there for a while, I just need to find another part-time job to supplement the income.

Still struggling with the eating disorder, but I'm seeing my dietitian and therapist weekly and going to lots of groups, and for now seem to be holding steady. I'm enjoying being "free" this holiday season. Since I was in treatment during the holidays the past two years this is the first year I've been able to do any Christmas shopping, or light looking, or FREEZING getting in and out of the car, or lighting christmas smelly candles! I didn't realize how much I missed some of that stuff.
