I had an interview in Salt Lake this evening for a part time job at a drug & alcohol treatment program. It went well, so I'm hoping something comes of it. I won't hear anything until next Wednesday though. I have another interview Monday for a part time job as a Behavioral Specialist for the developmentally disabled.Tuesday, March 31st 2009
Well, I'm not sure if the news from the dr. was good or not. The good part is, he didn't just say to stop any activity that makes my knee hurt (like the last doctor). But the not so good news is that I'm having another knee surgery in a few weeks. I guess I kind of knew another surgery was the only likely option, so I'm glad he's willing to see if he can find whats wrong. I asked about the meniscus transplant and he said they haven't seen very good results with it, but if he gets into my kne...Monday, March 30th 2009
I had x-rays of my knee done today for my appointment with the orthopedist tomorrow. I've had 6 knee surgeries (3 on each knee) and one of my knees is doing great...but the other one starts acting up every time I run, or jump rope, or sit too long, or pretty much any time I do anything. I went to an orthopedist in Sacramento a couple years ago hoping for something great, but all I got was, "You've done too much damage to your knees, there's nothing more we can do, stop any high impact act...Sunday, March 29th 2009
The talent show last night went great. I thought I could have done much better, but everyone else seemed to be impressed...and I didn't do a face plant or fall on my head, so I guess it was a success! I finished my scrapbook today and now I'm spending the rest of the day online job searching. WooHoo!I want to go to the gym, but 24 hour fitness is closed here on Sundays...and it's raining outside. Blah. Guess I'll wait till midnight, when they open up again. I slept in today by accide...
