Before you move on to the next lesson, take the time to think about the significance of losing weight to you. Be specific and detailed. It is not enough to say that looking or feeling better is important. Why is it important? What emotional, psychological or physical needs are you addressing? How will your life be enhanced? What is the real motivating trigger?

The answer to this CKU question........

My biggest motivating trigger will have to be my health. My BP is risen to uncomfortable levels. I have a hard time walking. My joints ache, my belly hits the table. I am tired of this.
It's not that I want to look better (though that will help). I have a heart condition and I am afraid to die sooner than God wants me.
