Ok, OK so I really screwed up yesterday. I got myself so starved that I went for anything.
I requested fajitas to my husband but he wanted polish dogs, onion rings and the pie. I just gave in and ate. I know that is what he wanted.
He is always saying he wants me to lose weight that he can't wait to see me back at 140. Well as long as I can't make suggestions for dinner and he take the suggestion He won't get his wish.
Ooops, I slipped up last night and had a buttermilk bar instead of the banana chips. I most certainly think the latter is better even though still high in calories. I suppose I went overboard on treating my self. I used my calories burned for exercise plus some. Ouch.
Well, today is another day. I am not perfect. I will do better.
I am a little stiff from 45 minutes worth of walking.
I had more energy to do my work instead of ho humming the afternoon away.

I have a new challenge for myself.
Every break time at work, I will get up out of my cubicle and walk around the entire building outside.
It is a huge state building that takes up the entire 4 sided block.
This will give me more walk time and hopefully cutdown on my intake of food.
I am not counting steps or calories burned just minutes.
I am going to go with gross calories not net calories.
I do not want to eat what I burn.

Today I have realized I am not alone on my journey. I have found honest support on the board.
I have been walking almost 30 minutes a day. I have yet to attempt going up the stairs. I am out of breath just trying to walk.
Before you move on to the next lesson, take the time to think about the significance of losing weight to you. Be specific and detailed. It is not enough to say that looking or feeling better is important. Why is it important? What emotional, psychological or physical needs are you addressing? How will your life be enhanced? What is the real motivating trigger?
