View ROCKINCHICK's food & exercise for this day
I totally blew off all my meds this past week including my bp pills. When I weighed in Friday morning I was at 314.5. that is 12.5 pounds more than I was the week before. I gained 12.5 pounds in one week. My meds are real important to my health and I always mess this up. I started back on them today. I feel my kidneys throbbing with all the water and salt built up. My head won't stop hurting, my lungs feel so full of fluid and I am contantly thirsty but not drinking enough. I have sabotaged myself. I can't blame it on anyone this week. I need to get myself up off the couch and doing the things I need to do to get healthy. I don't want to die at a young age. My bp, anger and eating habits will put me in the grave earlier than I expect if I don't shape up.
As for my daughter. We went to her school today cause of an incident with her math teacher. He is kinda creepy. The math teacher asked her if huggies came in her size cause she said she had to go to the bathroom. I was livid. My 14 year old is a big girl but this had nothing to do with her size. The teacher made it out to be that I was refering to her size but I wasn't it was all about the comment. Professionals should not ask a student that sort of thing. Well, either way he denied it. The couselor has moved her to a different math class. I only hope her personality doesn't stir up problems in this class.
My 17 year old still without a place to call home. I am not really sure where he is staying. I do know he was at the youth pastors home for Thanksgiving. I asked him, heck I begged him to come to Stockton with us to see his family. I just know if he did my father in law would have invited him to stay. He would have to go to school and work around the house but I think that is so much better than what he is doing right now.
My daugher in law has kept her new job for longer than any other job. She is a price changer at JC Penney. She doesn't have to make contact with customers which she likes. My son started bartending school tonight and is also waiting to hear back from Check N Go for a daytime job.
The visit with my granddaughter over the holiday was so blessed for me. She is only 2 and is very smart. She can't talk clearly but she does understand what you say to her. She love to create little games to play, jump on the couch and scream for her grampa when he's not paying attention.

Hello you are not alone in your struggle in taking care of yourself but it sure can feel like it
:) I know that feeling. Anyway, take care and keep writing. Lucky you to have a nice granddaughter.
