View ROCKINCHICK's food & exercise for this day
What a term to use to describe the middle of the week. Some teenagers would think it rude, radio DJ's use it as a way to be crude. I'm just glad the week is half over.
Today is my oldest child's birthday (pic above with his daughter). He is 22. That means I will be another year older later this year. I had him when I was 20. I thought I was young cause my grandmother had my mom, her first born, at 16. My mom had me, her only child, at 17. I thought I broke the mold. I was at least out of high school but dropped out of college. I married the father who is two years younger than me. At the time my son was born his other girlfriend was pregnant with his second child born 6 months later on my birthday. Today this man has 6 children by 3 different women or is it 4. Not sure he lives in Maine with the mother of his youngest children while me and the other woman of his second child live here in the same town. My son has not seen his sister since they were infant/toddler ages. I separated them out of hurt and pain.
My oldest is part of my heart. He has been through so much with physical abuse (he had his leg broken) I was in the middle of my drug addiction and was being abused myself. I see pictures of him as a young child and I see the pain in his eyes. I cannot bring myself to through these pics away but they bring tears to my eyes when I see them. He is now grown, married and has a child (my blessed granddaughter only 2 years old). My son has chosen not to go to church, he would rather live the way he knows how. He works two jobs to support his family. He took in my other son when he ran away but that's a different story. He is cold in the heart sometimes but I know why. All in all he's a great person growing into a wonderful.
Today I am going to focus on my job, healthy eating, and Curves. I will not put food in my mouth that I do not have the calories to afford.
