Saturday, Mar 17 2007 - Taking a different approach
View ROCKINCHICK's food & exercise for this day
I have had many successes with the WW program. But as soon as I lost a certain amount I lost my fire. As with any weight loss program the fire is considered the honeymoon phase, then it starts to fizzle. My last success with WW was a 49.8 pound loss. I have managed to keep it off except that playing with 20 pounds or so since joining CK. I have come to realize I need the small group setting in person to be held accountable. So yes I have rejoined WW program. I will still blog and read blogs here but I will keep my food diary on the WW site which is now free if you pay monthly for the WW unlimited meeting pass. I have managed to get back below 300 within 2 days of joining back. I just don't know perhaps another honeymoon. I get confused on their forums though. There are 100,000s posting just all over the place going constantly. I get sort of lost but I am relearning something that I let go of.
Don't get me wrong CK is wonderful and I will always study here I just have to do points for a while. Gotta go and get ready for Curves. Love you all.

I agree - you have to do what works for you. Don't be that "quitter" now!
:) ---I know you saw my poem!
:) I think it's important to have accountability, and I'm glad it's working for you, but the last time I went to WW I didn't really have that. The people at the meetings here didn't really know you, or notice if you came or didn't, and the talk was all about recipes, not the struggles with weight loss. Congratulations on the weight loss!
 That's awesome!

I think that is a great idea! I think that there are several people here at CK who also do WW. I don't see why you can't get the benefits of both programs at the same time! I am happy for you. I did WW in the past and it worked for me. Congratulations on your progress!

You have to do what works for you. Take care of yourself. Everyone is still here when you need us.

Different things work for different people - and yes, in person contact is something you can't get here at CK - but you CAN from WW.
:smile1: Wherever you log is fine - it needs to work for you, not us!! Congrats on going below 300! I've got the confidence that you can stay there... and keep going
=D You know, there's nothing wrong with hanging out on BOTH forums! You don't have to leave us - we like you here!
