Thursday, Apr 12 2007 - Potluck Day

Today we are having a potluck for a coworker that is leaving to work at another state agency. I invited the whole Division plus some outsiders for this event. She worked for this Division for 9 years. She was the first face I saw a year and half ago on my first day. She helped me with getting my badge, paperwork and showing me a few of my duties. Now we are going to have a HUGE potluck in her honor. I bought the cake last night at Sam's Club. I don't have to mention what a potluck will entail but all I know is hold me back. This evening I weigh in at WW. On my home scale this morning I am 4 pounds more than I was last week. I don't want to gain anymore, bad day for potluck but Friday the 13th was not an option at this time. Positive thoughts for me all around. I need to eat a sensible breakfast. I will really be chosey at the potluck and only have a tiny taste of new things but load up on the fresh fruit salads. Hopefully they will taste fresh to me.

Just a smidge or taste will do. Remember that you don't want to gain any more. Have more of the more healthy options and a taste of whatever else looks good. You can do it! ;)
