Well, of course it's been awhile since I blogged but life is hectic and so is my home computer.
I ended up real ill on Wed the 16 with fever and chills. I stayed home the next two days not feeling anybetter. My dh noticed my right lower leg getting all red and hot. He thought I had a staph infection. So off to urgent care I went. The Dr marked the redness, took blood and gave me a shot of Rocefin (sp). I was then told to come back the next day to recheck and read my labs. Of course the labs showed I had an infection but didn't say what. The Dr in urgent care couldn't tell me what I had either and gave me another shot of Rocefin along with a script for Levequin. It was too late to get it filled so I went home. The next day Sunday, I got online to see what could be wrong cause nothing was going away. I thought I had DVT (very similar symptoms). So off to emergency I went. The triaged me then took me right in. After some blood work they admitted me into the hospital with acute cellulitis. My leg was painful. I spent 3 days in the hospital with morphine and antibitotics IV style. I then came home and have to keep it elevated. I finally came back to work on Tuesday but still should be home. By the end of day my leg is so sore I have to elevate it. Praise God I have an understanding dh who has been cooking and a dd that has been doing her best to keep the kitchen clean. Oh I am now diagnosed diabetic. I will know more for sure when I see my PCP Friday.
Other than that I am blessed. God is healing me everyday and I am remaining Faithful. I sort of felt like Job when all this was happening.
